    Public Directory

    Korean Car Importers

A public directory of well-known Korean car importers active on social media. KUC does not vet, verify, or endorse any importer on this list — your choice is your responsibility. Contact them directly and vet them yourself before paying anything.

⚠️ Notice: KUC is a free informational platform only. We are not a party to any sale or shipping contract, and assume no liability for your choices, payments, vehicle condition, or disputes with importers.

How importers appear in this directory

This is a public directory only. We list importers who present themselves publicly on social media and Korean export platforms, or who request to be listed via our form. We do NOT visit their offices, audit their commercial records, review prior shipments, or guarantee service quality. The presence of any name here is not a KUC recommendation or endorsement.

If you have a problem with any importer on this list, you can let us know — and we may remove them if complaints accumulate. But KUC is not a party to your contract with them, and cannot compensate you for any loss.

If you're an importer and would like to be listed here, contact us via the form on the About page. Listing is free and non-exclusive, and does not imply any endorsement or recommendation from KUC.

Questions to ask any importer before you pay

Practical questions to evaluate any importer yourself. The absence of a clear answer to any of these is a red flag. KUC offers this list as a self-vetting tool, not as a guarantee of any importer.

    • Commercial registration & office: Ask for their commercial-registration number and physical office address. Verify it through your country's government portal.
    • Bank account: The bank account MUST be in the company name, not a personal account. Any request to pay into a personal account is a red flag.
    • Written contract: Demand a contract itemising every cost line (Korea price, freight, insurance, customs, importer commission), the timeline, and refund terms if the car fails inspection.
    • Pre-shipment inspection: Confirm what inspection they include: just the official Encar report, or an additional in-person video walk-around? At what level of detail?
    • References: Ask for 2-3 previous customers in your country and call them. Any importer who refuses to provide references — walk away.
    • Staged payments: Avoid paying the full amount upfront. Many importers operate in stages: deposit, inspection-cleared payment, shipping payment, arrival payment.

    Frequently asked about importers

How are importers added to this directory?

This is a public directory of importers who are publicly active on social media and in the Korean car import space. KUC does NOT vet, verify, audit, or endorse any importer on this list. We simply aggregate their public contact information so buyers can reach out directly. Choosing an importer is entirely your responsibility — vet them yourself before sending money.

Can I contact more than one importer for the same car?

Yes — and we strongly recommend it. Different importers have access to different yards in Korea, charge different commissions, and offer different service tiers. Quotes can vary 5-15% on the same model. Talk to two or three before committing, and compare their inclusions (inspection, insurance, payment terms, post-arrival support).

    Does KUC charge a commission?

No. KUC is currently 100% free during its beta phase. We do not collect any money from buyers or importers. Our cost figures are estimates to help you plan your budget. Any commission you pay goes to the importer you contract with directly — not to KUC.

What if I have a dispute with an importer?

KUC is not a party to your transaction and assumes no responsibility for disputes between buyers and importers. Resolve disputes directly with the importer, or via consumer-protection channels in your country. We may remove an importer from this directory if we receive credible complaints, but removal is not a remedy for your specific case.

How should I vet an importer before paying?

Five quick checks: (1) ask for 2-3 references from buyers in your country, (2) verify their commercial registration and physical office, (3) confirm the bank account is in the company name (not a personal account), (4) request a written contract listing every line item and refund terms BEFORE paying any deposit, (5) check social media for recent complaints. None of these are guaranteed protection, but missing any of them is a red flag.
