    Encar landed-cost calculator

Encar shows you a KRW asking price. That number is the start of the conversation, not the end. By the time the car reaches your registration office in Riyadh, Dubai, Amman, Doha, Cairo, Manama, or Muscat, the buyer has paid 30–55% on top of the dealer price in customs, VAT, ocean freight, marine insurance, port handling, KUC inspection, and final clearance. KUC's calculator computes that full chain so the price you compare against the local market is real.

    What's included in 'landed cost'

    • Korea-side: dealer asking price, Korean export documentation, bonded yard handling.
    • Ocean freight: container or RoRo from Incheon / Pyeongtaek / Mokpo to Jeddah / Jebel Ali / Aqaba / Doha / Sokhna / Salalah.
    • Marine insurance covering total loss + general average + theft.
    • Destination port: handling, demurrage budget, document fees.
    • Customs duty (varies by destination, 5%–40%).
    • VAT or equivalent (5% KSA/UAE/Bahrain/Oman, 16% Jordan, 14% Egypt, 5% Qatar*).
    • Local clearance + KUC service fee.

*Qatar's vehicle taxation is more complex than a single VAT rate. KUC's calculator embeds the country-specific rules so you don't have to research them yourself.

    How to use the calculator

    • Open the KUC calculator and select your destination country.
    • Either browse the live inventory (every car shows a per-country landed price) or paste an Encar listing URL.
    • The calculator returns the all-in cost in your local currency, broken down line-by-line.
    • Use the side-by-side country comparison table to see how the same car would land in each MENA market.

    Frequently asked questions

    Are KUC's landed prices guaranteed?

Landed-cost components are recomputed daily against live FX rates and current freight quotes. The price quoted at the time of payment is fixed for that order — subsequent currency moves don't change your invoice.

    What's not included?

Local registration / plate / insurance once the car arrives in your name (varies by country and emirate). Optional add-ons like ceramic coating, tinting, or Gulf-spec aircon upgrades.

Why use KUC for Encar imports

Encar is built for Korean buyers — its interface is Korean-only, prices are KRW, and there's no built-in support for shipping, customs, or international paperwork. Trying to ship a car direct from Encar to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, or Jordan without a local partner means coordinating Korean export documentation (말소등록), destination HS classification, Korean port handling, ocean freight, marine insurance, and final clearance at destination — with the bandwidth and Korean-language expertise to fix issues when they arise.

KUC makes the chain readable before you commit to any importer: we translate Encar listings into your language and surface every cost line (purchase price, ocean freight, marine insurance, customs duty, VAT, clearance) as a single landed-cost estimate in the local currency of each of the seven destinations we support (KSA, UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Egypt, Libya, EU). The actual execution of inspection, shipping, insurance, and clearance is done by the importer you contract with; KUC is an informational tool and does not perform any of these stages.

To get started, run the calculator, browse KSA inventory, or browse the public importer directory.
